Thank you for visiting this page.
If you are a customer of an organisation calling itself "UKTicketFactory" you should be aware that this domain name and site is no longer owned or operated by that organisation.
This site is now owned by The National Exhibition Centre Limited ("NEC") as a result of the legal action which it took against the previous owner of the domain name (details of which are set out below).
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ACTIVITY INCLUDING THE SALE OF TICKETS WHICH TOOK PLACE ON THIS SITE PRIOR TO APRIL 2010 WAS CONDUCTED BY UKTICKETFACTORY.COM WHICH WAS IN NO WAY CONNECTED OR ASSOCIATED WITH THE NEC (INCLUDING THE TICKETING SELLING SERVICES WHICH IT PROVIDES UNDER THE BRAND NAME THE TICKET FACTORY).
UKTICKETFACTORY.COM HAS NEVER BEEN AN OFFICIAL VENDOR OF TICKETS FOR THE NEC, THE NIA, THE LG ARENA, OR ANY OTHER NEC VENUE.
Legal Action taken by The NEC
The NEC became aware that site www.ukticketfactory.com was purporting to sell tickets to concerts and events on the secondary ticket market using a name which was similar to The Ticket Factory (the brand owned and used by The NEC to provide ticket selling services). Due to the confusion being caused to The NEC's customers because of the use of the domain name "www.ukticketfactory.com", and associated website by someone who was not connected, affiliated or authorised with or by The NEC or its brand The Ticket Factory, The NEC lodged a formal complaint with the World Intellectual Property Organisation ("WIPO") about such use. The NEC's complaint was upheld and WIPO ordered the transfer of the domain name www.ukticketfactory.com to The NEC.
The NEC is unable to assist you with any complaints or actions you may have against UKTicketFactory and the persons behind such organisation. If your complaint relates to tickets purchased on this site (which you did not receive) using a credit card your credit card company may be able to assist you in gaining a refund and you should contact them directly.
Figures show that 1 in 12 ticket buyers have purchased tickets from unauthorised or fake ticket selling websites. The Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (STAR) have issued guidance on steps you can take to protect yourself when purchasing tickets online which can be found by following this link www.star.org.uk/consumeradvice/buyingonline.
